Tristan Carter is the assistant instructor at the Kensei Karate Dojo, where he helps in the teaching of the juniors and also keeps the smaller children in order at the Dojo.
Tristan (Tris) Carter commenced training in 1998 with his father Carter-sensei and is currently ranked Ikkyu (1st level) Brown Belt. Tris is an important member of the Kensei Karate Dojo and works very hard in helping others within the dojo. Every lesson he takes it upon himself to ensure that the dojo floor is clean and safe for all to use.
Famed for his incredible flexibility, high kicking and his ability to keep coming back for more, he just loves the chance to show off his dojo sparring skills. Tris also enjoys his kata practice and can often be found in the corner of a the dojo, quietly practicing before class starts. Also having won many awards for student of the month and his dedication to training.
He understands that he has to work much harder than most in case other students see his success as favouritism. Being the son of the instructor can have its good and bad points.
